Friday Friends 90!

1. Yen - or Irene, owns the site with url "business-ito.com" (which I belive means "this is business") but fondly named the blog "Crucial Bliss". Don't get confused by this, coz soon as you visit her site, you will see not only a beautiful design, but a personal blog and not a business-based blog. And as I call it, "it's not ads with a blog but a blog with ads". And minimal ads too, (no offense to those with blogs who overflow with ads). Just visit and you will know why hers is a site named Bliss...

2. BarbiePhobia - Her opening line "Love is a temporary madness"... something most of us would agree on, well I do. And her blog named "It's Complicated", is simply a gem! Although she haven't updated for over a month, her posts still shine, especially with her photos, proudly made through her Fuji camera! Move over your mouse and click on her link.

3. GoyZ - I was surprised to see such a simple profile with words "I am a simple person with simple dream. I believe in GOD who made simple amazing miracle in my life, that's ME" and have 16 blogs! Wow! This amazing girl has managed to maintain all these blogs while staying true to herself and to her faith. I can say she is a very organized person, as she had separate blogs for parenting, food, money, health, movies, gadgets, models, healthcare, beauty, blogging tips and of course.. gossips! *wink* One of her blogs, Smartparentingpink holds her EC profile. So if you pass by, don't forget to drop an EC!

4. Online Writer - and I have the same mantra "Follow Me, I'll Follow You Back!"... She's a member of Mom Bloggers Club and writes about news and her thoughts behind the headlines. Don't mistake this for a political blog, but if want current events and even news that is not popular, she's one of the best source. Drop by and say hello.

5. Bobcat - says he is "no expert, nor a geek" he just collects and shares them. Well, I know I promised to follow all those who follow me, but honestly, since all his/her 3 blogs are not in English I would have a hard time following any of them. Nonetheless, I left a comment asking if he has one in English, then, that's the blog that I will follow.

Also, please add this new rule, once I posted a linky love, the love doesn't go away unless you un-follow me. I hope that's okay, this is to avoid people who just followed for the sake of a linkback. Linkback is totally different from a Linky Love. The passion is not there. I would rather feature a follower with no url on his/her google profile, and reserve a space in case he drops by again. I am also thankful to those anonymous followers and friends...

But enough of the mellow drama, friends 91 to 95 will be posted next Friday!

I know this post is a bit over-due, but I promised this not only to you, but also to myself. So here I am, better late than never, right?

Tuesday Trophies: Friendship Chain

Here's something that I love to share to everyone!

I got this from Lisa over at LisGold.. as there are no rules for sharing this friendship chain, I invite all friends and visitors of my blog: Please feel free to grab this nice Daisy Friendship chain from me!

“Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Don't walk behind me;
I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” ~ Albert Camus

And here are five places I am thankful for where I have found friends (no need to mention their names, right?):

1. The Blogsphere

2. At parties

3. At the library

4. Walking alone by the beach

5. My Family

How about you, where have you met your most treasured friends?

Monday Movie Meme XV

Topic for this week is all about...
On the Road

Ohh I love to travel! And here are a few of my fave movies that either involves traveling or is about traveling! (I was about to add Lolita, but I mentioned that one to many times! lol)

1. Mad Love (1995) - Juvenile love, oh so sweet and so innocent! But these two runaway lovers finds out that falling madly inlove is not the only thing that they need to survive.
2. Sideways (2004) - This movie was recommended by one of my X bf after we stopped seeing each other. I don't know why, but maybe he's sending me a message here. Oh well, he is indeed an "older" man. I wonder who he sees himself in this movie? The playful actor who is about to get married or the depressed teacher?
3. Into the Wild (2007) - A name that I will never forget: Alexander Supertramp. This movie truly moved me! And I only knew in the end that this was based on a true story which made me cry even more! It's about a fresh graduate who gave up his material world to live in the wild. Just when you think he finds a place to settle, he had the urge to keep on moving until he reached Alaska. And I won't tell what happens there! Just go and see this!
4. Rain Man (1998) - Who would expect that finding a long lost brother would make a greedy man's heart melt? I guess, spending time to rekindle a forgotten past is indeed life-changing.
5. EuroTrip (2004) - Of course! The ultimate joy ride! LOL. Enough of the drama, this movie is best seen with your friends, or alone when you wanna laugh yourself to sleep! Yeah, okay, some may say this is a stupid movie, but you must admit, anyone who has seen this had at least a few laughs! I had lots!

Sunday Score

Despite my busy week, I still try to take time and thank those who comment and visit here by visiting your blogs as well. And for my friends who gets a chance to be the first one to comment on a post, I'd be happy to give you all linky loves!

So, aside from the Red Hot Lovers link, starting today, I'll be tallying the scoreboard whole over here (instead of just on paper) because I have such a messy desk now and I want to clean it.

And to get included on my sidebar, you must be a first commenter for at least twice!

Wednesday Wishes XI

Oh how days pass by so quick! Aside from my hectic schedule at work and at "play" *wink* I hardly had time for my online duties.

So here are my 5 wishes for this week. I wish that I will have time to do the following:

1. reach my goal of leaving 1,000 comments on various blogs by the end of the month.

2. go back to the blogs of ALL those who left comments here for the past week and comment back.

3. drop at least 100 EC cards a day

4. post something daily, accumulated from all my blogs

5. visit all the links on the mr.linkys of the groups/memes that I have joined.

How about you, what do you wish for this week?

My Trophies Tuesday

Like any other day, I am thankful for each new sunrise that greets me. And that the world still rotates and everything is as where I left them since the time I closed my eyes and sleep. Each day is a blessing and I see it as an opportunity to change, for the better.

But let this post be where I will the place all the awards that this blog received.
(Click each image to go directly to the day I posted it and see who gave it to me and who received them as well)

And again, thank you so much for all my friends and followers and especially those who regularly visit and comment!

Friday Followers suspended

I'm sorry but I have to skip this day in honoring my friends and followers from 86 to 90, as there is something wrong with the google following widget and I can't view who they are. The list should appear just above the Google search bar on my sidebar. If you see a box that says "connection interrupted" that's the place.

But no worries, soon as it's back I'll post them. Hopefully it's just a minor glitch and will be back soon.

For now, let me just instead thank all those 110 bloggers who have followed me on this blog! PLus the others who followed my other blogs. A linky love to all of you will be posted every Friday, as promised.

And for those who do not know yet, I have two simple rules in this blog:
(1) If you follow me, I will follow you, and
(2) You comment here, I will comment on your blog too!

Hope we all have a Happy Weekend!

Thankful Thursday VI

Like last week, I choose two groups that I want to dedicate this post today. Thankful Thursday and Things that I Love.

The 5 random things that I love doing that fills my heart with simple happiness.

1. cuddle a cute little baby

2. pick up a stray kitten and take care of it for a day before bringing to an animal shelter. (my apartment do not allow pets, unfortunately)

3. smile at the flowers I see on the way home
(especially from a tiring day at work)

4. receive an unexpected lovely call from a friend

5. catch a glimpse of a rainbow by the sea

"The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me. Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you." - Psalm 116:6-7
