Sunday Score

Despite my busy week, I still try to take time and thank those who comment and visit here by visiting your blogs as well. And for my friends who gets a chance to be the first one to comment on a post, I'd be happy to give you all linky loves!

So, aside from the Red Hot Lovers link, starting today, I'll be tallying the scoreboard whole over here (instead of just on paper) because I have such a messy desk now and I want to clean it.

And to get included on my sidebar, you must be a first commenter for at least twice!

Sunday Sunset

I stayed the whole day at my Mom's. The house where I grew up is so much the same as I last visited. Here are 5 things to thank for about my stay there...

1. The smell of my mom's home made cooking

2. My mom is really not that old yet. She was 18 when she had me. And guess what? She's not even 50 yet. So in a way I am thankful that our age was not that hugely apart, and she can relate to most some of the things I say.

3. I am more open and vocal about my feelings now, than say, 5 years ago.

4. My step dad still lives with her. And yes, of course I am thankful not for personal reasons, although I hate him still! But that he is still with my mom, keeping her company.

5. And lastly, I am thankful that old wounds have healed already. Of course the scar is still there, but we all live and learn. And eventually move on.

For those who are confused and curious, head on over to my confessions and read all about my step-dad.

Sunday Sunrise

1. Somebody is spoiling me! *Sigh*

2. And so I woke up with him again next to me. The scent of garden-fresh sheets and the mild sun rays beaming in the room brings me to a state of calmness and peace.

3. No, I'm not at home, nor at his flat. He booked at the beautiful Hibiscus Beach Resort and it's the perfect time as tourists have left after the Mardi Croix, the place is simply serene.

4. For Flickr. They have many cool daisy photos and the above is simply one of the best shots I have seen so far! Thanks to i.n.d.e.p.e.n.d.e.n.t for sharing this magnificent scene!

5. And lastly, I found a cool Monday Meme Blog which I would like to try out. Now, Silly me got the idea that instead of saying "biiitch" to "un-filter" google ads, why not use "1" to replace "i"? It's so obvious and I why didn't I thought of that before!? Well, thanks to Monday's A B1tch!

Sunday Stand-by

1. He loves me. He loves me not. I love him. I love him not. Not? No, just not thinking about it. I am thankful for all the escapades & adventures, plans & experiments. But not thankful for keeping me awake all night, thinking about them.

2. For the Saturday night that passed by too fast. Although, it hit me right to the spot. I should have accepted an invitation of a friend to go to a party, but I am too preoccupied to 'do' things.

3. I only slept at 5am til 11:45-ish. The ring on my phone woke me up. And I am thankful it was just my brother.

4. For my brother, for spending the day with me in my home. He brought along his sons and they were crazy and funny that I was laughing constantly.

5. We grew up with totally different taste and was never close. But now I see that being adults have made us forget about our differences and surprisingly even made us close. And that is the one I am most thankful for today.

Sunday Surprise!

1. I can't believe I was able to get a chance to go online today! Thank yous...

2. Okay, checked my mails, blogs and voice messages, filtering out the needed ones from the not, thank you for those who placed comments on my blogs and those who sent me emails (you know who you are, shy guys!) Smooches to all!

3. So I am with one of my (boy) friends who is sailing the regatta, and as he is swamped in bed, intoxicated by the wild water, music, liquor and (ehem) love making (yeah, I need to use "the friendly" and more naive word), here I am messing up with his laptop.

4. So 3 points to be thankful in no.3 actually. 1) him being sound asleep 2) his password-less laptop 3) the wild night we had and...

5. (4) for his HUGE... wow! *wink* (Sorry, I can't control my words and mouth! Yeah, there too!)

Dizzy Sunday

1. I went to one of my favorite annual thrift fair today. And I didn't thought it was that crowded! It's nice to see old faces and old acquaintances.

2. But I was more thankful for the bargains that I have brought. And a quote for today, "some people's trash is others' treasure".

3. It was hot! hot! HOT! At the fair. But what's hotter is the list of men asking for my number! Now I've got to get my schedule organized [giggles]

4. I do not regret going here, despite my previous plans of just chillin' this Sunday off while going over the paperworks of my cousin. So I called her and asked if it's ok to move it for tomorrow. I'm thankful she agreed, and even met me at the fair too!

5. Now how could I forget that wonderful sunset that greeted me as I went home!? The sun's golden rays truly warmed my heart.

Sunday Spree

1. For the fruit salad I made last night. My breakfast is just soothing. A nice & healthy way to start the day.

2. And while peeking on my kitchen window, I saw that the doctor next door had a girl visitor. I guess she's the girlfriend. And should I thank that he has one? Yeah...

3. Now let me go back in checking my work emails. Hmmm... there is a possibility that I can skip work tomorrow. Yes!

4. For not feeling lazy today! Because...

5. today is Shopping Day!!! See y'all tomorrow!

Story Sunday

1. Another get-together with the family today. It's been a tradition to meet up this way every year and memories come in mind both bad and good. But for now, let me thank for the good memories. Only.

2. Ok, on second thought, to come together with my self-cleansing (oh yeah!) I need to thank the bad memories as well. I guess I won't be strong as now if it wasn't for them. I just wish that some things be permanently deleted from my head.

3. Oh well! Let's see later. Let me just thank the opportunity to see another fun day ahead.

4. And the lovely sunset that greeted me as I woke up. How the sun's rays softly glistened by my window's curtains.

5. And oh, I am in charge of the flower arrangements today. So thank you for my name and the flower it represents.....

Open Up Sundays

1. for not being able to stop and talk about my boyfriend. OK, he may live a couple of states away, but he still visits me as much as he can.

2. for the feeling of being pursued. You know I can't help myself but fall for the stalkers sometimes.

3. one last take off before his plane takes off! Yeah airport girly powder rooms are handy sometimes. I just hope I wasn't that noisy *winks*

4. no more slowing down starting tomorrow now! ROTBL!

5. for the secrecy of my blogs that I can be as naughty or as sweet as I want. With no pretensions whatsoever!

Swinging Sunday

1. First, I gotta thank Casual Slack who posted this cutesey bonnet a few days back! It goes perfectly well with a light saber!

2. And speaking of geekiness (or did I say that?) My date last night ended up swell, except that his geeky brother was taking photos of us making out all along! Oh I sure hope those were only photos indeed! Last thing I need is a random guy recognizing me from amateurvideos.com or something. Thanks, but no thanks!

3. On a positive note, my date was extremely hot and... well let's just say my last encounter prior to him was a mere 30%? Hah!

4. and before I forget the simple and little things that makes life sweet... the smile of a loved one meeting you by the door. No questions asked, just a kiss and everything just falls into place. After a week of being lost, I feel at home.

5. and last thing for today... thanks again to Casual Slack and i quote "Attitude is contagious. A positive attitude gives energy to you and to those around you. On the other hand, a negative attitude drains your energy and the energy of those with whom you come in contact". So true!

What a week! Now I shouldn't forget to be thankful now, should I?

1. for blogexplosion who added up this blog as my third home

2. for the wedding of my uncle tomorrow. I hope they live a joyous and fruitful life together.

3. for the gown that I will wear at the wedding. Oh I just love dark pink so much!

4. for the cute gorgeous last pair of high heels that I just bought. It goes so perfect with the gown!
