Solid Saturday

1. First off today, let me thank that cute flower clock on the sidebar. Now my visitors will know what time is it in Daisyland. LOL

2. And have you noticed the small flowers scattered all over here? Okay, if you did not notice it still, I have added a small flower at the sidebar's titles. I am starting to get a hang with XML.

3. Now for my inner deeper thoughts. Keeps my head together despite of recent turn of events.

4. I am strong. I am strong. And I am thankful. Trials that cannot break me will only make me stronger.

5. And of course, my latest fan. I mean, follower! Soulsister4lyfe. During her spare time, she makes money online. So again, following my rule... You follow, I follow.

Friday Farewell

1. What's up with life's roller coaster ride? [sigh] Nonetheless, there would be something good in all these. Someday... (and the thought of having a "someday" is something we should all be thankful for)

2. Mr. Regatta left today and I am all alone. YES!!!

3. He had a wonderful vacation with me and was with me during another turning point in my life. I am thankful that at least, I didn't have to deal with it all day each day.

4. But should I say fare the well to my old habits? No! A heartbreak is only a shattering to a person with no bruises. And I have endured alot. So I know this will all pass quickly.

5. Lastly for today, before I forget, I should thank my latest follower, a lover of flowers... Jesse Mendez

Thursday Teeter

1. Wobble back and forth, walking unsteadily, stuttering when talking... these are signs of anxiety. And I had an attack today. This is not why I am thankful, but thankful nonetheless that it stopped. And I am fine now.

2. I never really had the conscience or feel guilt for any of escapades I am doing and have done. In a way, I feel I am a stronger person, far from who I am years back.

3. But today, officially breaking up with my serious boyfriend, I feel emptiness inside. I think I have found (now) the person who I can trust with my life. (Something to be thankful for realizing)...

4. Although not thankful for finding out and feeling it now that he already decided that he wanted to go with the "other girl". The Catholic girl, the goody good bee stinging sweet girl. Wait, hold on, I am the other girl in this relationship. now, I finally admitted here in my blog (and maybe to myself) that this is how complicated things really are. And i can't fight for him.

5. So, no. 4 and 5 should be something to be thankful for, but they are not. These are the 2 things I am unthankful for and my mind is simply blank right now. I can't think. I don't know what to do. And being helpless is simply not me. Oh, hold on, at least Mr. Regatta is here with me (4) and (5) he doesn't have any other girl (that I know of).

Wednesday Wishes Part II

Last Wednesday, I totally forgot that I was suppose to post 5 wishes. Moving forward, I will schedule myself to post 5 things that I wanna happen. These wishes should be short term goals and feasible ones. No wishes for world peace and end global warming. Although that's my answers for the Miss Valentine contest. (Sorry, I was obligated to act like a naive blondie)

Anyhoo, here is my list for this week. This time, the wishes are for things that I should do myself. And the goal is to accomplish these in a month. So updates will be posted on the nearest Wednesday to March 25.

1. At least complete the whole month of March to post 5 things I thank for on a daily basis.

2. Stop promising myself that I can quit smoking. I simply can't.

3. Stop promising myself that I can quit making out with random guys I meet at parties. I am simply friendly. I have to accept that.

4. Maximize time by reading a book during idle hours.

5. Save the money I use to pay entrance fees to movie houses by not going every week. Once a month will do.

UPDATE: As for the first 5 wishes I posted last Feb.4, the wishes that came true were: 2,3 and 5. No.4 is unsure and 1 is pending.

Trembling Tuesday

1. My boyfriend, no, not my (boy) friend from the regatta, (but the boyfriend from the Pre-V day) suddenly burst out in anger with me on the phone today. This is not something to be thankful for, but I wanted to take things positively. After our long talk over the phone, I decided to ask for space and time for myself. Now that's a bit of a relief.

2. I first thought he must have seen a pic or vid somewhere (maybe the news) of me and my (boy) friend from the regatta. But turns out, his "partner" (okay I won't say if she's a girlfriend, wife or what) turned out to have hints of our relationship although she is not sure who am I. (Now that is something I am thankful for)

3. I'm not sure why he was so jumpy today and bursts out angrily at small things. But I was thankful it all happened over the phone and not in person.

4. I just hope he won't come flying over to talk to me personally in the coming days. Or else I have to get rid of Mr. Regatta. Good thing though, he doesn't live with me during his stay here and he will be out of the area this Friday.

5. Still, I am thankful for my weekend. It was a blast!

Sunday Surprise!

1. I can't believe I was able to get a chance to go online today! Thank yous...

2. Okay, checked my mails, blogs and voice messages, filtering out the needed ones from the not, thank you for those who placed comments on my blogs and those who sent me emails (you know who you are, shy guys!) Smooches to all!

3. So I am with one of my (boy) friends who is sailing the regatta, and as he is swamped in bed, intoxicated by the wild water, music, liquor and (ehem) love making (yeah, I need to use "the friendly" and more naive word), here I am messing up with his laptop.

4. So 3 points to be thankful in no.3 actually. 1) him being sound asleep 2) his password-less laptop 3) the wild night we had and...

5. (4) for his HUGE... wow! *wink* (Sorry, I can't control my words and mouth! Yeah, there too!)

Friday Feast

1.Today is the day! Yeah baby! I wish I won't go to work today but everyone is preparing there as well. Let's just say last V Day weekend is just the "fore play" of feasts here.

2. I love foreigners! Well, okay, a local growing up in the Virgin Islands would inevitably love them! And I'm thankful for being born here!

3. So, one of my agenda this weekend is boy hunting! Is this something to be thankful for? Like, duh.

4. Aside from Halloweens, I love events where I can get to dress up! Do you think I should wear something like this on the Mardi Croix?

5. And please anticipate some days of being awol online again. I'm on leave from work on Monday and my weekend is swamped with events! I'll be attending a Regatta and the daily after parties are usually a blast!

Thursday Tightness

1. Yikes! It's almost the weekend now and I simply lost track of time. Can't blame my tight schedule! Nothing much to do this week, except for the daily clubbing after work! HA!

2. A new club opened near the bay and my friends and I can't help but "baptize" it! As we get "wet" in turn. (Now here I let you play with your imagination)

3. One of the most awaited events in our island has come! The Mardi Croix! It's simply St. Croix's version of Mardi Gras! I would like to invite all those who love to partyyyyyyy! See photos of the past feasts here

4. Another much awaited event is the International Regatta! If you love sailing or at least love watching water race, you may be interested here. One of my (boy) friends will join and I can't wait to cheer him on! See more details of the event or register here.

5. Lastly, despite of my hectic schedule, of course I wouldn't forget my internet duties. And I am especially thankful for winning 270 banner impressions at EasyHits4u! Read more about it here

Missing Monday

Hoot! What a long weekend! Now things that I should thank for for the past days that I haven't been online: (there are actually more than 5, but I wanna pick the best 5 for now)

1. My advanced Valentine weekend with my boyfriend. It compensated the thought of not having him last V Day.

2. Did I win? No, of course. Turned out they wanted a skinner b*tch! Ha! But thankful still that I haven't won, or else I will be forced to wear red for the rest of the month! Isn't that horrendous or what? LOL

3. Thank goodness I don't believe in Friday the 13th! My neighbor has 3 black kittens!

4. I slipped my ankle last Sunday (don't ask me why) but this is a reason for me to stay home. Blessing in disguise, no work! I just hope my colleagues won't take it wrongly as in it looks like "a protest" of losing... Really, I don't mind.

5. Lastly, for my latest stalker, Da Eternal Rebel. Now I hope ye'all click through and visit him!

Wednesday Whereabouts

First off, yeah, I know, I skipped a few days again(!) But, I wouldn't skip the reasons for being thankful today.

1. For being too busy with work and my social life. Idleness brings me to illicit thoughts! [giggles]

2. For the voters and votes on which costume I should wear on the Miss Valentines Day at work. For those who haven't casted their votes yet, please holler over here

3. For feeling so activated and full of energy since last weekend.

4. For finally finishing arrangements of my cupboard! Now I will have a place for my trophies. Actually, they are just a sorta collection of stuff. Or should I say, memorabilia of my past escapades. What's with the mystery? Maybe I will write here someday. [grins]

5. And lastly, for my new stalker. Err, follower. Bacchus from the tasty The Blog Wine Cellar. And my rule stands, you follow me and I shall stalk you! Err, "follow".

Saturday Shopping

1. For the organized plans for this weekend that I wrote in my head last night before going to bed.

2. First on the list and I should be thankful for... The shopping day ahead!. I just got nominated to join a little pageant at work but I sure don't want to not take it seriously. But not too serious as well. So, I need to look around for some cute clothes. Wish me luck! Otherwise, I go with my couturier friend.

3. Next, I need to shop for what color to use on my cupboard. And thankfully, I can call on my colleague to meet me at a coffee shop to pick up the paint and all.

4. And a nice relaxing afternoon at the backyard while I wait for the cupboard to be finished.

5. As for dinner, I'm off to buy the ingredients of this romantic dinner recipe I found. Filet Mignon with Mushroom and Bananas Foster for dessert. I's skip the Garlic and Thyme, though. I do not find garlic that "romantic" Ha!

What's the occasion? My boyfriend will come over and I know we will have so much fun! Should I expand on the details? *Giggles* I leave that to your imaginations!

Floating Friday

1. Today is the Day! To show my gratitude and appreciation to my dear readers and online friends, I made an award just for you. There are no rules and no categories. The only thing that will stay constant is that this award will be given to one blog every month. So holler over to my other blog, Life Needs Retouches and see who are the winners!

2. And of course, I do not have an excuse to not thank other things today. I feel like floating in Cloud 9 right now as I was chosen by my colleagues to be the representative of our Department in the annual Ms. Valentines! So, should I wear a sexy cupid outfit or a red she-devil vinyl suit?

3. Win or Lose, I am the winner in the eyes of my boyfriend. So all I have to do is just have some FUN!

4. I was just off the phone with a friend and she agreed to customize a suit for me for a very agreeable price. Her condition was I need to advertise her store.

5. Okay, so those are the things that I am grateful for today. And thanks for thy sweet ass that never forgets to exercise. *winks* If you know what I mean.

Trophy Thursday

1. Remember the thrift fair I went to last weekend? I forgot to be thankful for the great finds and the hardwood cupboard that I acquired for a very cheap price!

2. The cupboard needs a little paint and there are no holes in my wall for it. So, a friend recommended his neighbor to fix it up for me. I'm so glad to easily have a handyman around when I need one. He will be here this weekend.

3. BlogExplosion is BAAAACK!

4. For Spaceman. I just read your email and I am simply blown away. Do you have a blog where I can stalk you?

5. And lastly, I would like to thank my dear readers, whichever cup of tea you prefer, the exotic side of me, the always in Love or the random unpredictable side. Watch out tomorrow on who's gonna receive the first Just Because Award!

Wishful Wednesday

Let's make today something different. Instead of thanking 5 things, I wanna post 5 things that I wish for. Heck, maybe let's make every Wednesday a day for wishes! And let's see if these wishes come true in time.

So here goes my first Wednesday Wishes:

1. However much I wish for world peace, that can be too impossible for now and I intend to have things ticked from this checklist. So my first wish is that our company will not be greatly affected by the recession. For now, it has not affected us much but I hope it stays this way (if not get any better) and won't go down any further, especially in the next 6 months.

2. I wish one of my two nagging neighbors would move out. So we can have peace and quiet at nights and weekends again.

3. I wish BlogExplosion comes back...
4. With better management.

5. Lastly, here's something fun! I wish I get to be chosen this year for the Ms. Valentines pageant at work! *Giggle$*

There you go. If you want to join me in this Wishful Wednesday, you can post about it in your blog. And it would be nice to leave a comment with your link and I shall place it here as well. Otherwise, just tell me your five wishes in the comments section.

So, who wants to join?

White Tuesday

1. White is a symbol of purity. In many cultures it represents openness and truth. So today I shall be open to my readers and say that once upon a time I had a girlfriend. Her name is Claire. And I have started writing about her. A link to the post will be added here once I am done. And so I would like to thank the memories of her today.

2. I may not know where she is now, but growing up in an all-girls school have broaden my imagination I guess. Which is something to be thankful for, of course.

3. For the mild weather today.

4. And today in history, 1690, the first paper money in America was issued. Who wouldn't be thankful for that?

5. Another historical event. It's Marriage Equality Day in NY! So wear your white knots and support the event. Kuddos and thanks to those who organize these kinds of events! (please click the links for the details or click the image below)

Monday Memories

1. So it is one of my X's birthday today. And should I be thankful? I am thankful though for doubting this question.

2. Well, for without him I wouldn't be as strong a person as I am now.

3. Memories may fade, wounds may heal but scars would stay. I guess I am thankful for this scar inside me reminds me that whatever trials comes my way, I can endure it. The HELL I have been through with him cannot be surpassed by anything!

4. So I heard he just got married (again!) Well, thank goodness! It's about time!

5. And lastly, I am thankful that he is not in my life now and will never be again. (I hope)

Dizzy Sunday

1. I went to one of my favorite annual thrift fair today. And I didn't thought it was that crowded! It's nice to see old faces and old acquaintances.

2. But I was more thankful for the bargains that I have brought. And a quote for today, "some people's trash is others' treasure".

3. It was hot! hot! HOT! At the fair. But what's hotter is the list of men asking for my number! Now I've got to get my schedule organized [giggles]

4. I do not regret going here, despite my previous plans of just chillin' this Sunday off while going over the paperworks of my cousin. So I called her and asked if it's ok to move it for tomorrow. I'm thankful she agreed, and even met me at the fair too!

5. Now how could I forget that wonderful sunset that greeted me as I went home!? The sun's golden rays truly warmed my heart.
